Beginners    Fun with Freeware tells you about two free utilities. One, Overdisk v 0.11 (Beta), is a disk space monitor which also graphs the information on the screen. The second utility, Taskbar Shuffle, allows you to drag and drop items on the Windows taskbar.    Safeguarding Your Data provides you with advice from the Department of Homeland Security about keeping data on your computer safe and secure. Word Processing    In Earlier Office Suite Conversion for Office 2007 Documents the author mentions the difficulty older versions have had with the new extensions of docx, xlsx, and pptx. Microsoft has been shipping "Office 2007 awareness patches" and has made available an "Office 2007 Compatibility Pack" as a free 27Mb download. Read about it. Communications    There are two short articles in this section. One is about an automatic Phishing Filter in Windows XP which slowed down the author's Internet Explorer 7 so he turned it off.
