Router Firewall v Software Firewall

This topic came up at our last meeting. I was on the Q and A board at Kerio and found this Q and A that answers the question.    Q: I have a firewall in my router, do I still need a software firewall?	A: Yes, for instance if you want to know if any malware is trying to "phone home" from your PC and steal your personal information. A software firewall like Kerio will inform you about that attempt, but a firewall in a router will not. There are many other reasons, but this one illustrates the point.
