MSN Request for Credit Card Information
by Carl Tenning

I received an e-mail today from what appeared to be MSN stating that I needed to update my account information. I'm sure this was bogus. There was a link in the e-mail to the following website for entering my information:

   http://www.mobius.it/writable/MicroSoftBillingAccountManagement.htm

It had a place for my credit card number, expiration date, name, address, etc. It sure looked authentic.

But the giveaway was that it did not show the secure lock at the bottom of the browser. Notice also, that the site is in Italy.

I notified MSN Billing and they asked that I forward it to: mailto:abuse@msn.com>

Watch out for this one. If you get it, you may wish to forward it to MSN also.
