Senior Staff Senility Shifts Standard Sequence
    Those of you with a better grasp of reality, not to mention better eyesight, than ours will have noticed that the month of publication appearing at the top of pages 2 through 12 of the April 2001, printed issue of the TOGGLE, said it was the February 2001 not the April issue. Not only that, at the top of the left hand column on page 12 it announced the date of the November meeting, and that subsequent meeting dates would be Dec 11, Jan 8 and Feb 12.

    Reached for comment, while recuperating from this sudden attack of old age, the editorial staff (hah!) apologized for the error, but, in a juvenile1 attempt to

save face, expressed some suspicion that it may have been an elaborate All Fools Day prank since it occurred in the April issue. Hmmm. Maybe we can blame this on the recent earthquake too!

Meeting Room Availability Affected by Library Painting
    We've been advised by Library officials that the meeting room may not be available on our regular meeting night due to scheduled painting of the Library rooms by an outside contractor. We will keep abreast of the situation up until meeting time, and post a notice on the Library door if the May meeting has been moved to another location.
