Bug Causes Intel to Stop Shipping New CPU

Intel ® has reportedly halted deliveries of their new 3.0GHz Pentium 4 processor, code named Xeon, on the very day of its planned initial deliveries. The official explanation is that a bug was discovered in a small number of units, but TOGGLE reporters have learned from sources who wished to remain anonomus, that the new 3.0GHz operating frequency is adversly affecting milk production in northwest Washington State. Intel believes the bug is minor, but it is causing quite a concern in Lynden, Washington, a dairy community in that part of the state. See Northwest Washington Computer News on page 6.
