• Handy Backup 3.9 - Handy Backup packages this task into a very nice interface. The New Item Wizard comes up immediately to guide you through setting up your backup properties and giving you comprehensive options. Folder and file selection is simple. It can compress your data with the ZIP format and encrypt it using 128-bit Blowfish security. You can also choose incremental backups, which acts only on files that have changed since last backup. You can set Handy Backup to run daily, weekly, or on almost any other periodic schedule you choose.
• Sims File Cop - For those of you who play or want to play the extremely popular Sims game, this utility file is just for you. The Sims File Cop cleans your Sims folders for files that are known to crash your game that you may have downloaded to your system. It will check for each file type and report if it found any and how many it removed. See the help files for a discussion of many more features.
• Ddcrypt 2.0 - Ddcrypt is a small and fast encryption utility. It can be used to encrypt single files or entire folders. It uses the 448 bit Blowfish encryption algorithm. It works as a shell extension in Windows Explorer and integrates into the right click menu for folders and files. Ddcrypt supports the creation of self -decrypting files and can process folders recursively. The license is free and it includes an uninstaller.
• WinAmp 3.0 Full - Winamp can handle audio CDs, MP3 audio files, and streaming audio broadcasts. Combines extensive functionality with an intuitive interface. It features playlist editor and 10-band graphic equalizer with user-definable presets that can automatically load specific files. It includes Windows Media Technology 4.0 input/output support and the industry-standard Fraunhofer MP3 decoder. It no longer includes VIS/DSP plug-ins; you can download them separately. Winamp 3 plays MP2 and MP3 audio streams and Windows Media Audio. The license continues to be free. For those of you who love Winamp 2.0, it is a must to see and use.
