The following were available on CD-ROM at the August 1999 meeting.
Norton AntiVirus - ver 5 & 5.01
These two programs come on a CD.
The Norton Antivirus 5.0 (NAV 5.0) is a fully licensed version for use
only by TOG members. The NAV 5.01 is a major update to 5.0; Version 5.0
must be installed on your hard drive in order to properly install
version 5.01.
Internet Explorer 5.0 (msiebt.zip) This
65MB program is available to TOG members on CD. Beside providing an
install for IE 5.0, the program contains updates for Internet software
items contained in
Win95/98. If you are currently running
IE 5.0, you probably downloaded it from the Internet, but have no backup
of the program in the event of a crash. Well, here is you chance to
have a complete backup of the
program on CD.
Netscape Navigator 4.61 (ce32e461.exe) This
exe program is the latest update to the Netscape Navigator browser. The
program is over 15MB in size, and updates your current version to
4.60, even though the filename suggests
it is a 4.61 version. Due to the size of this program we are making it
available on CD for your convenience.
